Roulette Variations

American Roulette has 38 slots on the wheel, numbered 1 through 36 and a single '0' and a double '0' slot. The table is made up of three columns of numbers, and sectioned areas for the types of bets. You may place a bet on a single number, low or high, line, five number groups, four number groups, three number groups, split bets between two numbers, corner, columns, red or black numbers, 1st, 2nd or 3rd Dozen numbers and odd or even numbers.

European Roulette is played the same way as American, but with 37 numbers including a single '0'. The house edge is the other difference between American and European Roulette, in American Roulette the house edge is 5.26% and in European Roulette it's 2.70%

French Roulette offers a few twists to the game, and the table is marked in French. It too is a sinlge '0' game with 36 numbers. You'll also spot right off that all the numbers on the table are Red, but on the wheel the numbers are red and black. This throws people off at first, but it's not significant to the game, it's just the design of the table. This game has all the types of bets in the previous two versions but offers some additional bets too.

Voisins du Zero: This is a bet on the 17 numbers around the 0: 0, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, and 35

Tiers du Cylindre: This is a bet on the 12 numbers at the other end of the wheel from 0: 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, and 33.

Orphelins: This is a bet on the 8 numbers left that aren't covered in the previous two types of bets: 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31, and 34.

Finales en Plein: This is a bet on the numbers that end in a specific number: 3, 13, 23, and 33.

Finales a Cheval: This is a bet on numbers that end in either or 2 numbers, for example 2/5: 2, 5, 12, 15, 22, 25, 32, and 35.

And finally, there is The La Partage Rule, when you make an even money bet and the balls ends up on the Zero, you won't lose but half of your bet.
